No. I handle all the technical setup — you just need admin access to your Shopify store and a Claude account.
Will this mess up my live store?

What's the difference between this and Shopify's built-in AI (Sidekick)?
Sidekick is Shopify's native assistant. What I build gives you a custom agent with more control — automations, integrations, and actions Sidekick doesn't handle out of the box.
Will an AI agent be able to delete or change things by mistake?
No. I set permission scopes so the agent can only do what you approve — no unrestricted bulk actions.
Do I need to buy anything extra, like API credits?
You'll need a Claude API key (Anthropic billing) and, if we add automations, an n8n account. I'll guide you on setup and rough costs before we start.
Which MCP server do you use official Shopify Dev MCP or a custom one?
Depends on your use case. For store management via Claude Code/Desktop, I use Shopify's official Dev MCP. For custom write operations, I build or extend a dedicated server with scoped tools.
