FAQ
What types of interactive web maps can you create?
I develop interactive maps for businesses, real estate, tourism, logistics, research, environmental projects, and location-based services. Features are customized to your project's goals and package scope.
Can you create a WebGIS map without existing GIS data?
Yes, I can discuss suitable publicly available datasets or help prepare location data. Extensive sourcing, digitization, and data collection may require a custom offer.
Which GIS data formats do you accept?
I can work with suitable GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, KMZ, CSV, Excel, and other supported spatial datasets. I will review the files and check whether conversion is required.
Can the interactive map be integrated into my website?
Yes, I can prepare embed-ready maps for compatible websites. Direct integration with WordPress, Wix, or other platforms depends on the site's setup and may require an additional service.
Will my interactive map work on mobile devices?
Yes. All packages include responsive layouts intended for desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. The completed map will be tested on representative screen sizes.
Can you add search, filters, custom markers, and popups?
Absolutely. These can include clickable information windows, category-based markers, searchable locations, geographic boundaries, and layer controls, depending on your selected package.
Can you develop a GIS dashboard with charts?
Yes. The Premium package includes an interactive map dashboard with one chart. Larger analytical dashboards, additional charts, and complex data integrations can be quoted separately.
Will I receive the source code of my WebGIS application?
Yes. I deliver the agreed project files, including applicable HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and geographic data files. Third-party libraries and licensed datasets retain their respective licenses.
Does my map require monthly subscriptions or API fees?
Many maps can use open-source tools and suitable open data without a paid mapping subscription. However, certain providers, API features, hosting arrangements, or usage levels may involve third-party charges.
Can you handle a complex or customized WebGIS project?
Yes, I can assess requirements such as larger datasets, custom dashboards, advanced geospatial functions, or external data connections. Send your project details so we can agree on scope, feasibility, pricing, and delivery.
