Sophisticated Squarespace Designer Needed to Refine Website for High-End Interior Design Audience

Review the existing Squarespace site and identify what currently makes it feel visually weak, inconsistent or clunky * Recommend the most effective improvements without unnecessarily rebuilding everything * Refine the homepage and essential supporting pages (About Page and Product Page) * Improve typography, spacing, proportions, hierarchy and page flow * Create a cohesive visual system that can be maintained across the site * Improve the presentation of services, reports, samples and calls to action * Simplify any sections that feel crowded or confusing * Ensure the mobile version feels polished and intentional * Preserve the parts of the website that already function well * Complete the work within the existing Squarespace platform * Provide a clear handoff so my assistant and I can make routine updates afterward * Include up to two rounds of reasonable revisions Imagery, art direction and sourcing I do not currently have an established library of appropriate website imagery, so image direction and sourcing will be an important part of this project. I would like the selected designer to: * Develop a cohesive visual and image direction for the website * Recommend the types and number of images needed * Source properly licensed image options for my review and approval * Create polished website mockups using my existing Studio Intelligence reports * Handle image cropping, sizing, placement and basic editing * Clearly identify any additional image-licensing costs before purchase The imagery should feel clean, beautiful, editorial and restrained. Appropriate subjects may include: * Materials, textures and finishes * Craft and architectural details * Design books, samples, drawings and research * Ateliers, workshops, exhibitions and trade shows * Travel and hospitality details * Abstract or difficult-to-categorize design compositions * Polished close-ups and mockups of the Studio Intelligence reports
