Hi! I'm Melike. I've been professionally creating stop motion animations for a wide range of brands and clients around the world more than 5 years. Besides that, I write the scenarios, design the scenes & characters, and prepare the storyboards for the animation videos.
How do I work?
Upon receiving your request, first, I'll work the scenario of the animation based on the design and the story that you have in mind, and present you the draft plan/outline of the video. If we agree on the outline, Ill create a storyboard and ask for your approval. If were set, I'll draw and create the visuals by hand -in the traditional way- which will make the final product unique for you/your brand.

Hi! I'm Melike. I'm a stop motion animation artist and an illustrator. I’ve been professionally creating stop motion animations for a wide range of brands and clients around the world more than 5 years. Besides that, I write the scenarios, design the scenes, sets and characters, and prepare the storyboards and animatics for the animations as well.

Can you tell about your animation technique?
I use stop motion animation technique and i create and draw every object and every frame of every motion one-by-one, and by hand. This makes the animation unique for you and the project, and gives that warm 'organic' feeling that many clients are looking for.
Do you write the scenarios for the animations?
Yes, I do. I can either work with your scenario, or write and suggest a creative scenario for the animation for you.
Do you make storyboards or animatics?
Yes, I do both. After creating the scenario and agreeing upon the final version, I can create both a storyboard and/or an animatic* for the project. Please note that these are extras and should be ordered with the animation. *In essence, an animatic is an animated storyboard.
Do you make animations with longer durations than the options shown in the gig?
Yes, I do. Please contact me for projects having longer durations in my 'Premium' gig and I can send a custom offer after receiving the details about the request.
Do you provide voiceovers for the animations?
Yes, I can provide professional voiceovers for all kinds of animations in most languages. After agreeing on the final version of the text, I'll get the voiceover from the professional voice artists I work with. I can also use the voiceover you send me, and create the animation based on that.
What kind of stop motion animations do you do? 2D or 3D?
In my technique, I mostly create 2D animations with hand drawn objects and backgrounds using a similar process to 'cel animation', but also in many of my works I use both 2D and 3D objects at the same time. There are also some projects where I mostly use 3D objects, like the product stop motions.
Which software do you use for your animations?
I use Dragonframe for shooting the animations and do the rest of the works like color grading and further edits on Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
