I will tutor you in english and help you become a better writer

Please note that I will not do homework assignments for you. I will simply tutor you and work with you to figure out how *you* can make revisions to grow as a writer.

Here are some of the first things I look for when I work with a client:

• Line of reasoning. Do you make effective claims that tie your evidence back to your topic?
• Evidence. Do you use the right amount of evidence? Is your evidence from trustworthy sources? Does your evidence support your claim?
• Elaboration. Do you explain your evidence well enough?
• Clarity. Can I understand what you’re trying to say? Do I need prior knowledge to be able to read it?
• Rhetorical situation. Do you have a clear purpose that makes sense considering the circumstances under which you’re writing it?
• Other rhetorical strategies. How do you make your argument? Is there any way you can do it more effectively?
