FAQ
Can you install and activate the PayTabs Shopify plugin?
Yes. I can install the official PayTabs Shopify plugin, connect the store, and activate the integration. PayTabs recommends activating immediately after installation to avoid authorization issues.
Can you set up the offsite payment method?
Yes. I can configure and verify the PayTabs payment option so customers can select it during Shopify checkout and proceed to the PayTabs payment page.
Can you configure payment authorization and capture?
Yes. PayTabs' Shopify configuration includes payment authorization/capture settings, which can be configured according to your required transaction workflow.
Which payment methods does PayTabs support?
Available methods depend on your merchant region and account configuration. PayTabs lists options including cards and regional methods such as Mada, STC Pay, ValU, Meeza, OmanNet, and KNET.
Can you troubleshoot PayTabs installation or activation errors?
Yes. Premium includes troubleshooting for common installation, activation, configuration, and checkout issues. If the issue is caused by PayTabs or Shopify account restrictions, I can identify the issue and explain the appropriate next step.
Can you configure Apple Pay through the PayTabs Shopify plugin?
PayTabs currently states that Apple Pay is not supported through its Shopify payment plugin because of Shopify's payment-app rules; Apple Pay may need to be enabled through Shopify's own payment connection instead.
