👋 Hey, I'm Cam - the Founder and Technical Advisor at DS. We provide hassle-free Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus guidance and remediation to SMEs across the UK. Cyber Essentials shouldn't be complicated, and odds are if you're researching it, you've probably been asked to acquire certification. Organisation desire certification in Cyber Essentials for numerous reasons. It could be that in order to work with a certain supplier, partner or bid for certain contracts, Cyber Essentials has been listed as a pre-requisite. Whatever the reasoning is, we view the certification as a business enabler. The 5 technical controls should not impede your organisation's productivity for the sake of security. No. Quite the opposite. The 5 controls should enable your organisation to expand, and open the door to work with those suppliers / partners / contracts, that was previously slammed shut. less
