Professional musician with over 30 years' experience performing on cello, piano and recorder. Extensive experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, accompanist and session musician. Performance work has included weddings, funerals, christenings, private parties, garden parties, restaurants, care homes, corporate functions and public concerts. Recent chamber music performances include a two-cello recital at Ipswich Minster and a Piano Trio/Piano Quintet concert at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Aldeburgh. Orchestral experience includes performances with the London Schools Symphony Orchestra (as Co-Leader of the Cello Section), Waveney Sinfonia (Cello Section Leader), Lavenham Sinfonia, Wolsey Orchestra, Prometheus Orchestra and the Royal Northern College of Music Orchestra. Performance highlights include appearances at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre and Queen Elizabeth Hall, together with solo performances of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17 and Bruch's Kol Nidrei with orchestra. Experienced across classical, folk and contemporary genres, providing high-quality live music tailored to each event.
