I led the end-to-end development of a high-precision, IoT-integrated automated laboratory dispensing system for a Tier-1 medical research facility. My role involved translating a complex conceptual brief into a fully functional, manufacturing-ready assembly consisting of over 120 unique mechanical components. I utilized SolidWorks for advanced 3D CAD Modeling, ensuring every part adhered to strict Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) protocols to minimize production costs and assembly time. This project required extensive Mechanism Simulation to verify torque requirements and structural integrity under continuous load. I delivered a comprehensive package including high-fidelity photorealistic renders for stakeholder approval, detailed ISO-standard Technical Drawings for the machine shop, and a full Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement. The final product was successfully prototyped via CNC machining and is currently in the pilot production phase, resulting in a 15% increase in dispensing efficiency compared to previous iterations.
