What is a sizzle reel?
A sizzle reel is a short, engaging video designed to showcase the strongest elements of your film, series, pilot or creative project. It can be used for pitches, promotion, social media or to generate interest in your project.
What footage can I send you?
You can send completed scenes, raw footage or a combination of both. I can also work with separately recorded video and audio that needs to be synced. If your footage is available online, please contact me before ordering to confirm that I can access it.
Can you sync separately recorded audio and video?
Yes. If your project was recorded with separate audio and video files, I can sync them as part of the editing process. Please let me know before ordering if a large amount of your footage requires syncing.
Can you add music and sound effects?
Yes. I can incorporate music and sound effects to help create the pacing, atmosphere and energy of your sizzle reel. If you already have specific music or audio assets you would like used, please include them with your footage.
Can you add titles, graphics, logos and credits?
Yes. I can add titles, logos, branding and cast or crew credits where required. Please provide any logos, names, wording or other assets you would like included.
What if I have more footage than my package allows?
Additional source footage can be added as a Gig Extra. If you have a particularly large amount of footage, please contact me before ordering and I can recommend the best option for your project.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before ordering?
No. If you're unsure about the structure, pacing or style of your sizzle reel, I can use my editing experience to shape the material into a cohesive finished piece. You're also welcome to provide references or notes if you have a particular direction in mind.
What do I need to provide?
Please provide your footage, any separate audio, project title and a brief description of your goals. For narrative projects, please also provide a script, synopsis or plot summary where possible. You can also send music, logos, credits, references and editing notes.
