I'm Camila Jimenez, a Colombian visual artist and illustrator specializing in editorial and children's illustration. My work combines traditional hand-drawn techniques with digital media to create thoughtful, engaging visual narratives. My work focuses on editorial illustration, visual storytelling, and illustrated merchandise. Throughout my career, I have developed visual concepts, created original illustrations for print and digital publications, refined distinctive artistic styles, and produced narrative-driven fanzines and independent editorial projects. My published work includes Oquedades (2019), where I created 13 illustrations, including the cover; the editorial illustration for Susana Blake's Reclamo Mortuorio column in Nexos newspaper at EAFIT University (2021); participation in the LATIR 2021 season alongside La Astilla en el Ojo, Piso Alto, and the Pereira Art Museum; two illustrations featured in Cromático Artistas, the digital magazine Cromático (2022); and my first solo exhibition at the Carlos Vieco Open-Air Theater, organized in collaboration with the City of Medellín (2023).
