What language(s) do you write in?
I write in American English by default, but I can switch to British English as needed.
Do you use AI in your writing?
I only use AI in my writing if I need help with a tricky grammar question or I need to reduce a piece of text to fit a specific word or character count. I NEVER use AI for first-draft writing.
Can you help me with a resume/cover letter?
Absolutely!
Can you help with legal documents or grant writing?
I can only help with proofreading these documents for grammar, spelling, and clarity. I do not have legal training.
Can you help with academic documents?
I can help with basic proofreading of academic documents, but I will not write or substantially edit them. Please do not send me IRB, HIPAA, or other confidential information.
Can you help with creative writing?
Absolutely! This is my favorite kind of writing. I will work to help make your work better without overriding your unique voice.
What time zone do you work in?
I work in Eastern Standard Time. I consider "end of business day" to be 5pm EST, and "end of day" to be 12am EST. Please tell me if your deadlines differ.
