Why should I choose you for my 3D CAD and product design project?
I'm a qualified mechanical design engineer, not just a 3D modeler. Every mechanical product design and 3D CAD model I build is engineered to work and to be manufacturing-ready for CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding — not just to look good in a render.
Which software do you use?
I work mainly in SolidWorks and Fusion 360 for 3D CAD modeling, AutoCAD for 2D drawings, and KeyShot for product rendering. This lets me deliver precise, parametric, manufacturing-ready CAD for any mechanical part, assembly, or product.
What file formats will I receive?
You'll get your 3D CAD model in the formats you need — STEP, STL, IGES, OBJ, DWG, PDF, and native SolidWorks or Fusion 360 source files. STL and STEP are print- and CNC-ready, so your design is ready for 3D printing, machining, or prototyping straight away.
Are the source files editable?
Yes. Native source files (for example SolidWorks .sldprt and .sldasm) are fully unlocked and parametric, so you or your team can edit the 3D CAD model later with the right software. Editable source files are included in the relevant packages.
How do you decide the price?
Pricing depends on the complexity of your mechanical product design — number of parts, level of detail, drawings, and revisions. Since every CAD project is different, message me first with your sketch, photo, or brief and I'll send a clear fixed quote and timeline before you order, with no surprises
Do you provide manufacturing and technical drawings?
Yes. I provide production-ready 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T where required, so your mechanical part or product can go straight to a manufacturer for CNC machining or injection molding.
Can you design from a sketch, photo, sample, or just an idea?
Absolutely. As an engineer I can turn a hand sketch, photo, physical sample, or even a rough concept into an accurate 3D CAD model. This includes reverse engineering existing parts into clean, editable, manufacturing-ready CAD.
How many revisions do you offer?
Each package includes revisions, and I'll refine the 3D CAD model until the agreed design is right. Revisions cover adjustments to the original brief; a completely new design is treated as a new order or a gig extra. Sharing full details up front keeps revisions to a minimum.
Will my project stay confidential? Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. I treat every mechanical design project as strictly confidential and I'm happy to sign an NDA before we begin. Your idea, files, and product information stay private — between you and me only.
What support do you provide after delivery?
I offer friendly after-delivery support — minor fixes within the agreed scope, help with file formats, plus 3D PDFs and renders so you can view your CAD design even without CAD software. My goal is a manufacturing-ready result you're fully happy with.
