I am currently working as an Assistant Manager – Estimation and Contracts in the Solar EPC sector, where I am responsible for managing the complete techno-commercial aspects of projects across the UAE and GCC region. My role involves detailed cost estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity takeoff, and tendering for utility-scale and rooftop solar projects, as well as substation and electrical infrastructure works. I actively participate in pre-bid activities, including reviewing tender documents, identifying project scope, analyzing technical specifications, and preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates aligned with market conditions. I coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure all inputs are captured effectively and risks are properly assessed. My responsibilities also include preparation of commercial proposals, bid submissions, and negotiation support with clients. I am involved in contract management activities such as reviewing contract terms, identifying deviations, managing contractual risks, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. I have hands-on experience in handling projects involving substations, cable works (LV, MV, HV), civil infrastructure, and Solar PV systems. I work extensively on Excel-based estimation models, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and traceability in all cost components. Additionally, I support business development by identifying new opportunities, engaging with clients, and contributing to strategic bidding decisions. I am focused on delivering practical, reliable, and result-oriented solutions that support successful project execution and commercial outcomes.
