Über mich
I'm a licensed mental health counselor and a queer writer and editor specializing in queer indie fiction of all types (literary, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, you name it). I have a Master's degree in Psychology and will bring my nearly 10 years of clinical experience with the LGBTQ+ community to your manuscript to help your characters be as psychologically nuanced and vividly realized as they deserve to be. I offer a full suite of editing and consulting services: beta reading, sensitivity reading, developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading.

Working with Brianna was the best part of getting this book ready. She read my memoir three times and caught the things I could no longer see after living inside it for so long. She never changed my words on me. She flagged what she saw and left every decision to me, which is exactly how I hoped it would...

Brianna gave thoughtful, specific beta feedback that was clearly grounded in the manuscript. She caught several clarity and continuity issues I would not have spotted as easily from inside the project, and her inline comments were especially useful. Communication was good, and the final work was well worth the price.

I’m very thankful for what she brought up in her thorough report, with several points to consider as I finalize my novel. And I’m so glad for...

Working with Brianna has been an absolute pleasure. Even before accepting the gig, she was polite and eager to get started, and even helped me out with a student discount. As for the the beta read she gave for my short story collection, it was detailed, deeply insightful, and eloquently written. Moving...

Exceeded my expectations. Truly an extensive, in-depth look at my work and understanding all the nuances. Brianna makes sure to not tone down your voice or lower the intensity, but to make it more refined. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a sensitivity reader!
