Bowhunting Basics: Beginner friendly guides to get you started

Über mich
I've been bow hunting since I was twelve, back when compound bows were brand new and information was scarce. It was 1982. My dad and I learned together, often the hard way. It took me thirteen years to finally arrow my first deer. I don't want new hunters to go through that same frustration and heartbreak. I help new hunters skip the years of trial and error with practical, no-BS guides.
That's why I create clear, beginner-friendly content to help you learn faster and avoid the discouragement I faced.

Four years as a Combat Engineer in the US Army and Thirty-two years as an industrial mechanic taught me to diagnose problems, work to exact specifications, and deliver work that functions under pressure. That same discipline is what I bring to every article -- No shortcuts, no guesswork.
