Über diesen Service
I will bring your audiobook to life! I love reading stories (not just for a living!) and can offer a regular narrator or a plethora of different character voices.
My accent is British but I love doing dialects too, and in over 30 years as a voice artist, have often surprised even myself with the range of characters I have created for dozens of satisfied customers!
And if your book is more academically inclined, my deep & pleasant voice will keep your listeners riveted!
I will take full responsibility for the production of your audiobook, including recording, editing & proofing and you'll receive a finished product with split chapters ready for you to use on the platform of your choice, according to all professional industry standards & specs.
- Please provide the script, directions and guidance for "tricky" pronunciations so we can hit the mark straight away!
- According to the scale of the order, various revision options are included (just in case you have feedback or need to make changes!)

FAQ
What's the difference between an audiobook & a story?
This gig is for full length professionally produced audiobooks. I also offer a storyteller gig which is for smaller or less commercially orientated options
Do you do demos?
I understand that sometimes a client has to hear their own story read in order to make this major decision, so yes- I am willing to record a sample of up to 3 lines but rely on your integrity to only request this if you're serious...
Are prices negotiable?
It's always worth asking- these prices give a guideline but every project is unique!
Is there anything you won't read?
I won't read anything that has racist or sexist content
Why are your prices more expensive than other sellers?
As in any field, there are levels of professionalism. I offer a bespoke premium quality service, backed by 30 years of experience and countless satisfied customers. Just take a look at some of my reviews...
What rights do I need?
All rights are included in the price!

Bobby does an excellent job of narrating. His voice fits my story, and I do believe he can narrate anything fantasy-related quite well, and then some. We have chapter 1 down. I'll be using this file for a pre-launch video, as I plan to self-publish... Bobby is a great guy! He's waited a while, patient...

Laufende ZusammenarbeitAnother great audio narration from Bobby Lax! Not only is he quick, affordable, and great at understanding my characters, he even improvised to improve an error in the script unprompted! Great instincts and I look forward to working with him again.
