What genres do you work with?
I currently accept Gospel, R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop, Country, and Singer/Songwriter projects.
What do I need to provide before you can start mixing?
Please provide your individual audio tracks as WAV files, aligned to the same starting point. Include your song's BPM, any reference tracks, your ruff mix track, and specific instructions about your desired sound. Please ensure all files are ready for mixing before placing your order.
What counts as a track or stem?
Each individual audio file counts as one track, including separate instruments, lead vocals, harmonies, and background vocals. For example, five individually recorded background vocals count as five tracks. If you're unsure about your track count, message me before ordering.
What is included in a revision?
Revisions include reasonable adjustments to the existing mix, such as vocal levels, instrument balance, EQ, or effects. New recordings, replacement tracks, major arrangement changes, and extensive editing are not included and may require an additional fee.
Is mastering included with my order?
Mastering is included in my Standard and Premium packages. My Basic package includes professional mixing only. If you already have a mastering engineer, the Basic package may be a good fit.
Do you provide instrumental or performance versions?
My Premium package includes one alternate version, such as an instrumental or performance mix. Additional versions can be purchased as a Gig Extra. Please specify your preferred version before work begins.
Do you offer vocal tuning or timing correction?
I have tools for professional vocal tuning and editing, including Melodyne and Auto-Tune. Extensive pitch correction, vocal alignment, or corrective editing should be discussed before ordering so I can provide an appropriate quote.
Can I listen to my mix with you in real time?
Yes! I offer optional 30-minute live remote mix-review sessions using LISTENTO. You'll be able to listen and provide feedback in real time. Sessions are scheduled by mutual availability, primarily during evenings and weekends.
Do you provide project files?
No. My services include the agreed audio deliverables, not the original DAW project files or plug-in settings.
What if I need changes after delivery?
Your package includes revisions to fine-tune the mix, such as adjusting vocal levels, effects, or instrument balance. Please send one consolidated list of changes per revision round. Additional revisions/changes/replacement tracks/new tracks/changes in scope may require an extra fee.
