I am a certified Japanese teacher (completed a 420-hour training course) and currently teach Japanese at a language school in Kyoto.

Me and my husband love working with Ayumi, She is patient and kind. She goes at a good pace and the lessons are very good! She gives out homework that she reviews in the next lesson you book, so it helps keep track on our/your progress. She does have you practice saying specific phrases and does help...

My husband and I will be traveling to Japan later this month and wanted to learn a few words and phrases so we booked with Ayumi! She was incredibly helpful and created a personalized plan for us. We will be booking another session!
