Accurate quantities are the foundation of every good estimate. I measure your project in CostX, so every quantity is marked up on the drawings and easy to check.
What I measure:
- Concrete, reinforcement and formwork
- Structural steel, framing and roofing
- Masonry, cladding, plasterboard and ceilings
- Doors, windows, finishes and joinery
- Siteworks, earthworks and external works
What you receive:
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in Excel, by trade or element
- Marked-up PDF drawings showing every measurement
- Notes on assumptions and items not shown on drawings

FAQ
Do I get the CostX file?
You get the BOQ in Excel and marked-up PDFs. CostX files only help if you also run CostX, so ask me first if you need one.
Can you take off from DWG or scanned drawings?
PDF and DWG are both fine. Scanned drawings work as long as they are to scale and the scale is shown.
Do you include rates or prices?
No, this gig is quantities only. If you need a priced estimate, see my construction cost estimate gig or message me.
Do you add waste allowances?
Quantities are net by default. Tell me your waste percentages and I'll add them as separate lines.
