What do you need from me to get started?
Send your bottle size (e.g., 750ml or 1L), label panel height and width, bottle shape, logo, brand name, expression (Blanco, Reposado, Añejo), ABV, volume, NOM number, producer details, government warning, and barcode. If your printer provided a template or die shape, please share it too.
Can you create a custom die-cut label shape?
Yes. I can design rectangle, arched, shield, or fully custom die-cut shapes, with the cut line set on a separate spot color layer. I'll also adjust the dieline for curved or tapered glass to reduce wrinkling. Please test a printed sample on your bottle before bulk production.
Can you set up foil, embossing, and spot UV?
Yes. I set hot foil, emboss/deboss, spot UV, and varnish as separate spot color layers so your printer can make plates and dies easily. I'll also add finishing notes to your print-spec sheet. Please confirm finishing options and limits with your printer.
What paper works best for spirits labels?
I recommend textured estate, felt, or cotton papers for a rustic, premium look, and wet-strength paper so labels hold up in ice buckets and bars. I'll include paper notes with your files. Please confirm final paper and adhesive with your label printer.
Do you check my label for TTB, COLA, or NOM compliance?
I lay out your ABV, NOM number, origin, government warning, and required details clearly, but you'll need to supply the text. Tequila has strict rules (CRT/NOM in Mexico, TTB/COLA in the US), so please confirm all label content with your regulatory advisor before printing.
