I’m Ammaar, an Operations Engineer working in second-line systems support. I help businesses configure and troubleshoot Linux servers, web hosting, DNS, SSL certificates and business email. Promoted through fast-track progression to Operations Engineer in June 2026 and transferred to Nayatel’s second-line Systems support team. Provision and troubleshoot cPanel/WHM web hosting, Ubuntu and CloudLinux systems, SSL certificates, domain registration and DNS hosting. Provision cloud IaaS services using OpenStack and investigate email issues across Zimbra and Axigen. Use Zabbix for monitoring, UrBackup for backups and Bash for administrative scripting. Document findings, coordinate technical escalations and communicate resolutions to customers. Recognised as Level 2 Alpha of the Month in September 2026, an internal Nayatel performance award.
