I work with fiction authors to evaluate manuscripts from a reader’s perspective and provide detailed, constructive feedback before publication. My focus is on helping authors understand how their stories actually land with readers, from the opening pages through the final chapter. I review areas such as plot and pacing, character development, dialogue, emotional impact, consistency, readability, world-building, and overall reader engagement. I also provide chapter-specific observations and practical suggestions while keeping the author's voice and creative vision at the center of my feedback. My experience includes working with romance, fantasy, thriller, mystery, contemporary fiction, and darker fiction, with feedback tailored to the needs of each manuscript.

Beta Reader & Manuscript Editor

Worked directly with an independent fiction author on *The Ranch*, providing in-depth beta reading and manuscript editing throughout the revision process. My work includes evaluating the manuscript from a reader's perspective, identifying areas that affect pacing, character development, emotional impact, plot progression, dialogue, consistency, and overall reader engagement. I also provide detailed developmental feedback to help strengthen the story while preserving the author's voice and creative direction. In addition to beta reading, I am working on the manuscript at the line-editing and developmental-editing levels, identifying opportunities to improve clarity, flow, characterization, scene structure, and overall readability. This experience has allowed me to work closely with an author through multiple stages of the revision process, combining reader-focused feedback with detailed editorial analysis.
