I'm a cybersecurity professional based in Pakistan, currently working as an Assistant Manager in Compliance Assurance and Fraud Risk Management at a bank. I spend my days doing security compliance reviews and VAPT on banking products, so testing real financial systems is second nature to me, not just something I learned in a course.
I hold a CHFI certification from EC-Council and a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity. Outside of banking work, I create cybersecurity content and enjoy breaking things safely so others don't have to learn the hard way.

Conducted compliance assurance reviews of digital banking products (Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Digital Onboarding, Payment Systems) against information security standards and regulatory requirements. Performed Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on digital banking products, and reviewed/validated VAPT reports to confirm vulnerabilities were accurately assessed, risk-rated, and remediated prior to production release. Ensured alignment of digital products with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and internal information security policies, as well as applicable regulatory frameworks. Evaluated security controls across authentication mechanisms, encryption standards, API security, logging, and access controls.
