As a consultant with the PJSLC at Southwestern University, I was responsible for reviewing academic papers and applications that students require assistance with writing. Over two academic years, I conducted 98 appointments with 76 students; 70% of post-appointment surveys rated my helpfulness on their assignment as "Excellent," the highest possible rating out of five. My experience ranges across all stages of an essay, from helping students begin their outline to revising a final draft. I edited academic essays, scholarship and study abroad applications, and two undergraduate Capstone papers.
