- Power Systems Engineering: Designed, prototyped, and tested a custom State-of-Charge (SoC) PCB utilizing the INA238 and bq34z100 for a high-power 58.4V, 50A system. Developed embedded firmware and executed register-level calibration via TI bqStudio, replacing legacy voltage-divider circuits to significantly elevate telemetry precision. - VR Teleoperation & Simulation: Engineered an end-to-end teleoperation pipeline translating Meta Quest 3 spatial telemetry into localized, quaternion-based orientations. Validated 7-DoF robotic kinematics within NVIDIA Omniverse digital twins prior to recording and deploying trajectory datasets for physical hardware execution. - Actuator Integration & Prototyping: Rapidly prototyped a custom data-collection robotic gripper; authored control logic to command RobStride actuators while synchronously capturing high-fidelity real-time position and torque feedback. - Systems Integration: Implemented a low-latency Bluetooth communication layer linking VR controllers to a Xiao ESP32-S3 microcontroller for real-time manipulation. Developed a synchronous data-logging routine capturing end-effector torque, spatial coordinates, and video streams for downstream R&D analysis. - Embedded Communications: Designed, routed, and debugged custom PCBs optimized for robust CAN bus (TX/RX) signaling, establishing highly reliable, noise-immune data links between master microcontrollers and localized motor actuators. - Inventory Systems Architecture: Utilized AI to built an internal inventory management system in one week to automate component tracking, ensuring rigorous traceability of multi-tiered bills of materials (BOM) deployed across individual robotic builds.
