During my tenure at XIRCLS, I worked as a Python and Django Developer, where I was responsible for developing and maintaining backend functionalities for web applications. I built server-side logic using Python and the Django framework, ensuring efficient handling of HTTP requests, responses, and application workflows. My role involved designing and implementing backend modules that supported various application features while maintaining clean, scalable, and maintainable code. I worked extensively on building and integrating RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between different components of the application. These APIs were designed to process requests, retrieve data, and return structured responses in JSON format. I implemented request validation, error handling, and proper response structures to ensure reliable and consistent API performance. Database management was another key part of my role. I worked with MySQL to store and manage application data, writing SQL queries for data retrieval, updates, and processing. I used both Django ORM and raw SQL queries depending on the requirement, which helped optimize database operations and improve performance. I also focused on query optimization to ensure efficient data handling and faster response times for application requests. Additionally, I contributed to debugging and resolving backend issues during development and testing phases. This involved identifying logical errors, fixing database-related issues, and ensuring that APIs functioned correctly. I collaborated with team members to understand feature requirements and translate them into backend implementations. This experience helped me strengthen my skills in Python, Django, REST API development, and MySQL database management while gaining practical exposure to building scalable backend systems in a professional development environment.
