Led the end-to-end design and manufacturing readiness of multiple high-reliability products, including RF enclosures, microwave assemblies, and large-scale dish antennas. Applied DFA/DFM principles to optimise designs for cost and quality. Redesigning components for selected manufacturing processes (injection moulding, CNC machining, die casting), performing tolerance stack-up analysis using GD&T, and selecting materials to balance performance, weight, and environmental durability. Conducted structural FEA to ensure huge systems withstood extreme loads, vibration, and thermal cycles, while designing protective E-glass Domes for harsh desert environments that maintained RF transparency and structural integrity. Created ergonomic, intuitive enclosures around sensitive RF electronics, incorporating EMI shielding, thermal management, human-factor ergonomics for handheld/ maintainable systems, and high-reliability assembly techniques. Throughout projects, I collaborated closely with manufacturing vendors on prototyping and process validation ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and delivering robust, field-proven solutions that met stringent SWaP-C (size, weight, power, cost) requirements.
