FAQ
Which camera brands do you specialize in?
"I specialize in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting industry-standard hardware, specifically Hikvision and Dahua surveillance systems. However, I can also work with other standard IP cameras and DVR/NVR platforms."
How do you configure my security system remotely?
"I use secure remote desktop applications like AnyDesk or TeamViewer. You simply install the software on a PC or laptop that is connected to the same local network as your NVR, DVR, or IP cameras, and I will perform the configuration from there."
What if I forgot the password to my IP camera or NVR?
"I can help with password resets and IP address discovery. Using specialized utilities like the SADP tool for Hikvision and standard reset procedures for Dahua, I can help you regain admin access to your locked devices."
Will you document the changes?
Yes, Standard and Premium include full documentation of every rule and change I make.
Can I view my cameras on my smartphone when I am away?
"Absolutely! As part of the setup, I will configure the network and assist you in installing the official mobile apps (such as Hik-Connect or DMSS) so you can securely view your live feeds from anywhere."
