For today's session we actually did a bit of the merge sort lesson and we finished it with practice with tracing the code. We practiced with one code that had to do with recursion. It was a bit difficult at first but I was able to finish it. He was able to help me in areas I was stuck on though. Would recommend again!

For today's session we went over quadratic sorting, it was actually straightforward. However, with the practice I have learned that I need more time tracing the code and taking my time with it. I have learned that I have been skipping lines and making repeated mistakes. He was able to explain my mistakes and I managed to correct them. Would recommend again!

For today's lesson we went over Priority Queue's and Heap sort. It was actually very fun topic to go over and even more fun with the practice. I enjoyed doing the practice, however I do need to remember for bubbling up/down is always right to left. Would recommend again!

For today's session we continued to go over Quadratic sorting with some tracing problems. I did create some mistakes that I have correct for future sessions. He was able to point out the mistakes that I have created but he wanted me to find out where I went wrong first. But overall I wouldn't have understood... Mehr anzeigen

As someone who’s still new to Java and a little nervous about coding, this first tutoring session really boosted my confidence. The tutor was patient, knowledgeable, and explained the fundamentals in a way that was easy to follow. I’m excited to keep learning and build on what we've started.
