Hi there! I am Asjad Iftikhar having 5+ years of professional experience in back end development.
I will develop a python Django Rest API for you
What I can do for you:
- Build a new Django or Django REST Framework backend
- Add features to an existing app
- Fix bugs and speed up slow pages and queries
- Set up Celery for background jobs and scheduled tasks
- Connect Stripe, Twilio and other third-party APIs
- Deploy to AWS or DigitalOcean
Why Me
I write tests, keep the code readable, and hand it over so the next developer can pick it up without calling me.

I'm Asjad, a backend engineer with 5 years of Python and Django work for clients in the US, UK and Europe.
Most of what I build replaces something a person was doing by hand: LLM and RAG pipelines that read documents, AI chat and DM systems, crawlers that pull data on a schedule, and the SaaS backends that tie it together.
One SMS platform I built from scratch in 2022 is still running today, and I still maintain it. My clients tend to stick around.
Send me the problem and I'll tell you honestly how I'd solve it and what it'll take.

FAQ
Can you work on my existing codebase?
Yes, most of my work is on apps someone else started. I'll look at the code first and tell you honestly what shape it's in.
Do you do the frontend too?
I can, with React or Next.js, but backend is where I'm strongest. For frontend-heavy projects I'll say so upfront.
What if my project doesn't fit a package?
Message me and I'll send a custom offer.
