Do I need an existing AWS account?
Yes. You'll need an active AWS account with billing enabled. If you don't have one yet, I can guide you through the setup process before we begin the order.
Can you set up Lambda with TypeScript instead of plain JavaScript?
Yes. TypeScript Lambda with a proper compile and deploy pipeline is included in the Premium package. If you need it on a lower tier, message me for a custom quote.
What is the difference between REST API and HTTP API in API Gateway?
REST API offers more features like usage plans, API keys, and request validation. HTTP API is lighter, faster, and cheaper. I'll recommend the right one based on your specific use case.
Can you connect Lambda to a database like DynamoDB or RDS?
Yes. Lambda to DynamoDB or RDS connections are supported. Let me know your database setup and I'll include the connection configuration in the delivery.
Will you deploy using the AWS Console or Infrastructure as Code?
By default I work through the AWS Console. If you need Terraform or CloudFormation deployment, mention it when ordering and I can accommodate that at no extra charge for basic setups.
Can you set up environment variables and secrets securely?
Yes. Environment variables are set directly in Lambda and sensitive values can be stored in AWS Secrets Manager or SSM Parameter Store for secure access.
What do I receive at the end of the order?
